After qualification as a solicitor, John worked for a medium sized regional litigation practice as a compliance officer before being invited to join Woodward’s as a director/solicitor in 2018. John has a particular interest in solicitors professional conduct and regulation, contentious litigation costs, matters concerning mental capacity and leasehold reform. 
John has instructed Queens Counsel to the Senior Court Cost Office and the Court of Appeal on two reported matters, and has had conduct of complicated property fraud matters on behalf of elderly and vulnerable defendants.   
John currently deals with complex matters in conveyancing, probate and civil litigation.
